NPM Packages

In the NPM Packages section of Version Settings in Agnost, you can manage and install Node.js packages (NPM packages) that are essential for your application's functionality. This section provides an overview of the installed packages and instructions for installing additional packages as needed.

Installed Packages

In this section, you will find a list of NPM packages that have been manually installed for your application. Each package listing includes the following details:

  • Package Name: The name of the NPM package.
  • Version: The specific version of the package that has been installed.
  • Created At: The date and time when the package was installed.

These packages are essential for your application's development and are added based on your requirements and dependencies. They provide pre-built solutions and libraries for various tasks and functionalities, simplifying the development process and extending your application's capabilities as needed.

Installing Additional Packages

To further enhance your application or address specific development needs, you have the option to install additional NPM packages. Follow these steps to install new packages:

  1. Click the "Install Packages" button.

  2. Enter the name of the desired NPM package(s) in the search bar.

  3. Browse the search results and select the package(s) you wish to install.

  4. Click the "Install" button next to each selected package to initiate the installation process.

By following these steps, you can easily expand your application's functionality by adding new NPM packages from the npm.js registry. These packages offer a wide range of capabilities and features to meet your specific development requirements.
